As they say, big things come in small packages. This is a great example of that. The Cali bass from Mayones is the perfect portable bass, but it’s really much more than just a travel/bedroom companion. Sure, it has a dedicated headphone output so you can plug right in and practice anywhere you are without disturbing anyone. But it also has a fabulous tone that will sound great on stage and in the studio. This is a true pro-grade instrument through and through.

The electronics are all Mayones. A 3-band EQ and Mayo Hyper P pickup give it a P-bass on steroids sort of vibe. The playability, as you’d expect with any Mayones, is absolutely stellar and it really doesn’t even require much adjustment to play the smaller scale length.

A perfect balance of tone and convenience, the Cali can really fill a lot of roles and make life just that much easier for us bass players. It even comes with a rechargeable battery!

It might be half the size of our custom series basses, but it carries the same design philosophy & great tone, playability and highest attention to built quality and ergonomy.
