This snare drum, like all other Pork Pie products, is made with only the finest materials available today. This shell is a very unique 3 ply Maple shell. Pork Pie Percussion is known worldwide for bearing edges and snare beds. This attention to detail gives this snare drum amazing attack and sensitivity.
The hand-painted finish on this drum is Pewter Metallic Lacquer and is buffed to a beautiful hi-gloss finish. This finish is painted at the Pork Pie factory by Bill Detamore and gives this drum a very unique look.
The 3 ply Maple shell gives plenty of attack and a lot of body. This snare drum is very sensitive for perfect buzz rolls and brush work and has a great tone for funk or rock. You can tune this drum high or low with minimal overtones.
